Prior to the workshop participants will write a paragraph on an assigned subject. The writing will be organized ahead of time into a loose structure. Participants will be given random parts of the text to illustrate. The illustrations will be passed along to another participant, who will then write a one to five sentence response to the image to be passed to the next participant, who will then illustrate the new piece of text. This process will continue for as long as time allows, and like the surrealist game of the Exquisite Corpse — the entire illustrated story will only be revealed at the end of the workshop. We will either print the story in a zine form, or as a series of captioned poster-like images.
